Old Fishface
Old Fishface, not the name he called himself. From that old book, battered, its title page removed he had chosen for himself the name Michelangelo. Such was the condition of ignorance achieved by the iconoclastic population throughout the empire of its government that poor Fishface, unable to read the old language of the book, knew no more of this man than his name. The page of illustration had been almost completely torn away leaving only a pair of feet delicately entwined and between the base of the illustration and the foot of the page this name Michelangelo. It was of course that this name incorporated the name of his pupil that Fishface had singled it out.
